Ship Builds
This is a list of ship builds with their costs. These builds are not meant to be optimized builds, but ones that should be easily attainable from the previous one in progressing through the game. Feel free to skip buying ships, as this will likely save time. These builds are also ignoring alliance buffs.
Rider-Used
Build cost: 30, but given through tutorial
Rider
Build cost: 50 for ship, 60 for mods, 140 total
Transporter
Build cost: 150 for ship, 220 for mods, 460 total
Rocket
Build cost: 600 for ship, 320 for mods, 1230 total
Alien Seeker
Build cost: 1500 for ship, 0 for mods, 2130 total
Bus
Build cost: 3500 for ship, 2540 for mods, 6670 total
Capable of 480 damage in a single bullet. This ship will get you to 3 base damage with achievements.
Fighter
Build cost: 7000 for ship, 2100 for mods, 12270 total
With 3 base damage, you should start moving away from +1 damage mods now.
Family Cruiser
I don't recommend buying this ship. Two ejectors with 4.5 firerate is good at this point, but to make this ship worth it you'll have to farm enough mods to fill out both sides. The path splits right after the projectile generator, which means you'll either need duplicate mods or buy mods that you will likely not use later. It's also important to know that this ship is especially wide.
Build cost: 8000 for ship
Pirate Blade
Build cost: 11k for ship, 17000 for mods, 33270 total
With the 8000 you saved from not buying Family cruiser, you can instead buy your first AOE mod, which will help a LOT with farming. When firing at a wall of blocks, one circle AOE will hit 6 blocks.
Window
Same problem as with Family Cruiser. The path splits at the very beginning, which is not ideal.
Backsword
Build cost: 31k for ship, 73k for mods, 126k total
Great ship for farming. Two good options are available with this ship. The position of the ejectors makes bullets fire out of the sides of Backsword. You can either use the mod that redirects bullets forwards, or left and right curve mods. The curve mods are cheaper, but neither option costs very much. You should also buy a captain around this point.
Container Ship
Build cost: 79k for ship, 68k for mods, 163k total
Slow firerate, but incredibly powerful per shot compared to previous ships.
Prototype
Build cost: 500k for ship, 80k for mods, 664k total
High firerate with a decent number of mods make this ship have great DPS. It may take a few runs to afford this build. The ship itself is a big step up in price. I used Backsword on mission 28 and got over 100k per run.
Practice Launcher
Build cost: 1200k for ship, 0 for mods, 1364k total
Pretty similar to Prototype, but a little bigger and a little better.
Radio Seeker
Build cost: 2000k for ship, 0 for mods, 2164k total
Absolute beast of a ship for this point in the game. At 12.7, this ship has the fastest firerate in the game.
Scout
Build cost: 4000k for ship, 216k for mods, 4380k total
Relatively large ship for the price. This is a slow firing build, but it hits hard. Because of the space, it will cost a lot to optimize this ship past this build.
Eco Seeker
Build cost: 6000k for ship, 1245k for mods, 7625k total
Good balance of size, firerate, and number of ejectors.
Spaceshuttle
Build cost: 9m for ship, 4m for mods, 15m total
Lots of room for mods. If you haven't already, now is a good time to start buying a lot of 2X mods. Edit: found a better path that uses ejectors basically at full strength.
Army Launcher
Build cost: 18m for ship, 13m for mods, 37m total
Explorer
Build cost: 40m for ship, 11m for mods, 70m total
Great ship for farming, with a lot of space for mods. Not very useful for squeezing through maps, as ship is wide and ejectors are on sides. I put a mod on the strongest ejector to help with blocks directly ahead of ship.
Luxus-Class
Build cost: 90m for ship, 0 for mods, 120m total
Extractor
Build cost: 140m for ship, 5m for mods, 175m total
One of my personal favorites. Crazy high firerate with a decent amount of space and a load of ejectors. Probably one of the best ships for farming money.
Endprice
Build cost: 270m for ship, 240m for mods, 545m total
Really big. Long path gives crazy damage potential, but you'll have to buy a lot of mods to make this ship really good.
Eco Destroyer
Build cost: 480m for ship ??? total
Incredibly strong ship. You should farm for enough money to buy Captain Uranus somewhere around this point. Make sure to upgrade his ability as soon as you get him. Select him and complete mission 29 over and over to get absurd amounts of money. Using two projectile speed increase mods will make this go by much faster. Once mod costs hit 9223P, switch to Mars to buy more of that mod. You can also push pretty far in tiers with this ship, but it will likely be better to wait for the best ships. Unlocking the skills for the X2 mod will make a huge difference in your damage output.
Alien Destroyer
Build cost: 780m for ship, 210m for mods, 1265m total
Inferior to Eco Destroyer since the update to Eco Destroyer. I do not recommend using this build anymore.
Rocket Carrier
Build cost: 1600m for ship, 1000m for mods, 3085 total
Mothership
If you don't have legendary mods, you can substitute those for X2 mods. If you don't have enough X2 mods, just use some X10 mods to make up the difference.
Cargo Ship
This ship is honestly more fun that useful. With its size, it is pretty strong, but using all the ejectors is really fun to watch. If you don't have legendary mods, you can substitute those for X2 mods. If you don't have enough X2 mods, just use some X10 mods to make up the difference.
Dead Star
This is a really weird ship, because in my experience it's not as strong as Cargo Ship. This is more of a fun AOE build than one useful for pushing tiers. If you don't have legendary mods, you can substitute those for X2 mods. If you don't have enough X2 mods, just use some X10 mods to make up the difference.
Archmage
Archimage is no longer the best of the three ships that cost 500g. This build will still get you over tier 1000 with ease, but both of the other ships will be faster, Transmitter being the best. The combination of mods in this build destroys about 5-7 lanes of blocks, so you can either drill through stages or strafe to the side to clear everything. If you haven't unlocked legendary mods yet, just replace those with the 2X mods.

ReplyDeleteHow do you farm money on mission 29? I do it in 0.8 sec and get only 12.5k with Uranus max lvl.
ReplyDeleteYou just play it again and again and again, eventually (in about 60 runs), you'd get about 1G

You need 10G to get started on money farming use the 10G to buy Uranus captain and level up his interest ability to max(makes life easier but any level will do, it will just take more time to get money). Then use the Uranus captain and after each run(taking about 1 sec) you get 1.1% bonus money. Lets say you have 10G when you start farming after 1 clear witch takes 1 sec you now have 10.11G 2 runs 10.23G and so on and so on. Since it only takes 1 sec to get the 1.1% bonus thats why you farm level 29. You dont rely on the money from beating the level. Only interest from Uranus captain ability.

DeleteI explain late, probably, but still... When leveling the corresponding skill, legendary items and items related to projectiles (all or certain, i fk) are considered empty when calculating the damage from this legendary item.

DeleteI didnt have to spend 10G to buy uranus, and I cant level up his ability as soon as I get him because I have to level up his experience first, what did I do wrong? I seriously don't understand

DeleteOn Archmage, the "Clone" mod should be AFTER the "Add projectile" mods. The current setup results in 1*2+1+1=4 projectiles, but if it was after then it would be (1+1+1)*2=6 projectiles.
ReplyDeleteHmm, I'm gonna take that back. It seems it doesn't matter. I was going off of the in-game Help about the "Clone" mod, which specifically says "The order matters in combination with add projectile items". But after testing I believe it does not.
DeleteOne thing I do see is if the Clone legendary item comes before the Add Projectile item, then projectiles seem to get spread out more (like in 2 groups) than if the Add Projectile comes before the Clone.
